Our Non-Profit partner for January is....

Hey All,

I am back from the hectic holiday season and had a wonderful few weeks off.This time of year is truly magical and I'm kind of sad to see the lights slowly fade. I noted a few months ago that I will be trying to continue that warm and fuzzy feeling the rest of the year with my giving back program.

Each month of 2020 I will highlight a deserving non profit and donate 10% of all gross sales on all my sales platforms. I am very fortunate to be able to do what I love everyday and its something very special to be able to help others achieve dreams of their own. Some of the NP's I have coming up do just that. Give EVERYONE the opportunity to thrive. 

To kick of the month of January I have chosen Dress for Success-Atlanta Chapter.

It is no secret that I have moved around ALOT over the last 6 years. With a move to Atlanta TWICE..I actually have such a love for the city and the people in it. I got to spend some time with the lovely ladies of DFS Atlanta and I can tell you first hand they are doing amazing work. 

The mission is simple but there is nothing simple about the amount of work and dedication the staff and volunteers do each and every day. 

Mission Statement

The mission of Dress for Success Atlanta is to promote the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support and the career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life.

I have seen the faces of woman coming in to be suited for a job interview. The uncertainty of the future and how important this job they are interviewing for could change a life path. What DFS does is get them all set up with a kick ass power suit and a few outfits to rock that new job. It doesn't stop there though..Career development,networking opportunities, and job readiness courses are all available at no cost to these awesome ladies that come through.
